Our vision is that all Spanish-speaking individuals and their families with limited English proficiency can safely and promptly obtain high-quality care and/or programmatic services to improve their well-being.
Increase the language capacity of clinicians, healthcare/public health professionals, social workers, and case workers to safely render culturally and linguistically appropriate services to Spanish-speaking individuals and their families with limited English proficiency skills.
We offer one-on-one and group lessons for healthcare providers, non-clinician health and public health support staff, social workers, and other staff who understand that communication is vital to building long-lasting, sustainable relationships with Spanish-speaking individuals and their families with limited English proficiency. Interpretation exercises may be also used to improve skills.
